Fuzzy Horse
Horse show???
I have my first horse show coming up and I have no idea which classes to sign up for. I’m a begginer 12 and under western rider so I put all the classes I can enter on a list:
*Showmanship class
*Halter class
*Fuzziest horse/pony class
*Walk/trot
Western pleasure
*Egg and spoon class
okay, if you go thru and pick classes on weather you think you can place or not, then when ever will you get the chance to have that experance to get you to where you are able to place in more classes?
go into a class if you think it’ll be a. fun b. something you like. i find it funny, telling someone not to try if they dont think they’ll place, how will you know if you dont try.
sign up for all those classes you mentioned, seem about right and fun. go to a show and have fun, that’s my best suggestion, if you’re unsure ask you’re trainer.
showmanship-go for it, you’ll learn.
halter class-go for it, you’ll lean from it.
fuzziest horse/pony class- go for it, it just sounds too cool/fun to pass up.
wal/trot-go for it, again you’ll learn.
western pleasure- if you have the clothing for it(most girls i know/seen go in with really expensive outfits that look really good)
egg and spoon-again it’s a fun class, so go for it.
