Gold Marine
How do I clean a Marine hat? It’s the white cap with the Gold marine emblem. Does it need to be dry cleaned?
Is it cloth or leather? The white part can be removed from the rest of the cover. Unscrew the gold EGA from the front, and the two screws on either side of the cover at the sides of the brim. From there, you can remove the white part. If it is cloth, just use a little bleach and some warm water, clean it like you would any delicate piece of clothing. Not recommend you put it in a dryer as it could shrink and that would make getting it back on the cover frame a nightmare!!! If it is leather, I would advise leaving the cover intact and just spot cleaning it. The leather covers, in my experience, are a good bit harder to get back together because the leather does not give as much as the cloth. Hope this helps.
