Grown Friendship
Help me with this poem??? pls?
I like poems but im really not good at making one… it’s for school.. XC
Friendly White
Curled like white caterpillar inside an open cocoon
Fragile as rose petal that bloomed open for me
Planting the seed to nurture a growing friendship
As our first “Hellos” sprouted sweet fruits of memories
My puppy a sugary delight that I enjoyed every sip
Not a page turned without a smile in my face
Watching the big orange rise and fall across the great blue
Our days were dandelions flowing with the air
Jackie, was a tune of a humming Robin
Playing like a feather that swirled across the clear sky
My comfort during my days of darkened hue
A friend whom I always had by me.
it’s about my puppy.. I don’t know how to improve this Im really not good with poems.. help pls…
I think that you have some great imagery here! You say you are not good with poems…well, the structure of the poem is a bit loose, but the imagery is great! I think you have what it takes! Just hand it in and ask your teacher to give you some honest feedback, and keep up your writing. It will be a great way of expressing yourself when you feel unheard or misunderstood.
